One of the most common questions we receive at Pressed Petals Studio is, "How long does bouquet preservation take?"

The short answer is simple: beautiful things take time.

Every wedding bouquet is unique. Different flowers dry at different rates, and each arrangement requires a custom design that highlights the blooms that matter most. Because of this, bouquet preservation simply cannot be rushed without compromising the quality of the final piece.

When your bouquet arrives at our Reno studio, each flower is carefully separated and inspected. We thoughtfully select the blooms that are in the best condition while preserving the overall look and feel of your original bouquet. Every flower is professionally pressed using techniques designed to maintain its natural color, shape, and delicate details. Once the flowers have fully dried, we begin designing your custom artwork before carefully framing your finished keepsake. Every piece is handcrafted from start to finish, making each one truly one of a kind.

Fresh flowers naturally contain a significant amount of moisture, and removing that moisture slowly is one of the most important steps in the preservation process. Drying flowers too quickly can lead to discoloration, curling, mold, or damaged petals. By allowing each bouquet to dry at its own pace, we create artwork that will remain beautiful for years to come.

For the best results, we recommend delivering your bouquet within 2 to 5 days after your wedding, although we can often preserve flowers that are up to one week old, depending on their condition. If you're getting married in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Minden, Gardnerville, or anywhere in Northern Nevada, we offer convenient appointment-only bouquet drop-offs.

Your wedding bouquet represents one of the most meaningful days of your life, and our goal is to transform those flowers into a timeless work of art that allows you to relive those memories every time you see it. At Pressed Petals Studio, we specialize in handcrafted wedding bouquet preservation, memorial flower preservation, and custom pressed floral artwork. Every keepsake is thoughtfully designed to celebrate the story behind the flowers and preserve the memories they represent.

If you're planning your wedding, we encourage you to reserve your bouquet preservation as early as possible. We accept a limited number of bouquets each month to ensure every keepsake receives the attention and care it deserves.
