Your wedding bouquet is one of the most personal pieces of your wedding day. It reflects your colors, your season, your florist, and the flowers you carried through some of the most photographed moments of the celebration. Preserving it turns those flowers into artwork you can continue enjoying long after the event.

Pressed Petals Studio preserves wedding bouquets for couples throughout Reno, Sparks, Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Carson City, Incline Village, and surrounding areas. We also accept bouquets shipped from throughout the United States.

When should you reserve bouquet preservation?

We recommend reserving before the wedding whenever possible. Advance booking protects a place in our monthly schedule and gives you time to choose a frame without making a rushed decision after the event.

If your wedding has already happened, contact us as soon as possible. Last minute requests may be accepted when studio availability allows. Freshness matters, so waiting several days to begin planning can affect which flowers remain usable.

How soon should the bouquet arrive?

Bouquets should be dropped off or shipped as soon as possible after the event, ideally within 2 to 5 days and no later than 7 days. Keep the stems in clean water and store the bouquet in a cool, secure place before delivery.

Local appointments are held at Pressed Petals Studio at 24 Winter Street in Reno. Clients who are shipping flowers receive detailed packing instructions after ordering.

Choosing the right frame

The best frame depends on your flower varieties, the amount of greenery, and whether you prefer a centered or garden style composition. Smaller Few Blooms sizes are designed for a meaningful selection. Larger frames allow room for more flowers, movement, and layered details.

Choosing a larger frame does not guarantee that every flower will be preserved. We select and press the flowers and greenery that will create the strongest composition within the frame you choose.

What happens during preservation?

Each flower is prepared according to its structure and moisture content. Roses are pressed petal by petal and carefully reconstructed. One fresh rose can often provide enough petals to create approximately three preserved roses.

Flowers generally require 8 to 12 weeks to press. Most completed pieces are ready within approximately 10 to 14 weeks after we receive the bouquet and signed contract. Timing can vary during peak wedding season.

Will pressed flowers look exactly the same?

Pressed flowers remain natural materials. Some varieties become lighter, darker, more transparent, or softer in color. Color correction helps us create a balanced result, but natural variation is part of every preserved piece.
